Zaki’s Perfect Day on Rottnest:

07:10

Arrive at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Check in at the office and collect your hire bike

07:30

Depart Hillarys on our 7:30am ferry and either next to the bar on the Main Deck or Mid Deck directly above the bar on Harbour Master

08:15

Arrive at Rottnest and collect your bike at the ferry. Head to the Rottnest Bakery in the Main Settlement for some ‘hot ready chips‘

09:00

Start your adventure around the Island, I like to find the most secluded beach and relax here for the morning. Some great secluded beaches include Ricey Beach and City Of York beach

12:00

Cycle back to the Main Settlement stopping by when seeing quokkas to grab a photo. If there is their native foods around I would usually pick a fresh leaf or berry from the tree for them

13:30

Back at the Main Settlement I would stop for lunch at Dome and spend some time in the Main Settlement visiting different beaches and bays for the afternoon

16:30

Depart Rottnest Island and find a seat on either the Mid Deck balcony or Sun Deck on Harbour Master arriving back at Hillarys at 17:15. If there are late boats available I would always recommend taking the latest boat in summer as the sun sets during the crossing
