James’ Perfect Day on Rottnest:
07:00
Arrive at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Check in at the office and collect your hire bike - if you’re not fond of cycling the Island Explorer is a great option to see the whole Island

Depart Hillarys on our 7:30am ferry and sit Main Deck near the bar (it’s also a great option for those who get sea sick)

Arrive at Rottnest and collect your bike at the ferry. Start your day with a vegemite scroll - warmed up - and a coffee at the Rottnest Bakery

Cycle down to Parker Point, one of my favourite beach on the Island and enjoy a swim and relax on the beach
12:00
Cycle up to Oliver Hill to immerse yourself in some Island history and marvel at the 360 degree view of the Island

Cycle back to the Main Settlement for lunch at Hotel Rottnest
15:00
Walk over to Isola Rottnest to enjoy some cheese and wine with a great view of Thomson Bay as you wait for the ferry to arrive
16:30
Depart Rottnest Island and find a seat on the Mid Deck balcony on Harbour Master arriving back at Hillarys at 17:15
