Named after the well known prevailing afternoon sea breeze ‘the Fremantle Doctor’, the race always guarantees the very best ocean paddling conditions - a key element that attracts competitors to the event year after year.
Competitors will catch the ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour to Rottnest Island on the morning of the race and then make the 27km paddle back to Sorrento Beach in the afternoon. Competitors will be vying for top places to secure their points in the AORS.
