The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest is an open water swimming event and comprises of two swim races over two distances from Leighton Beach to Rottnest Island. The swim caters for the increased demand for long distance swimming and the interest from local, interstate and international swimmers to cross the iconic Rottnest Channel.
The 19.7 km swim is open to solos, duos and teams of three, four, six and ten.
The 25 km ultramarathon swim is the longest open water swim on offer in Australia, and one of the longest in the Southern Hemisphere. This event is open to qualified solo swimmers.
Spectators are welcome to cheer on swimmers as they arrive into Thomson Bay.
