Come along to a free Welcome to Country, presented by a Whadjuk Noongar Traditional Owner. 

These January school holidays, you can take part in a Welcome to Country ceremony every day. Connect with Aboriginal culture and develop an understanding of their continuing cultural and spiritual practices on Wadjemup today. The Welcome to Country is an acknowledgement and recognition of the rights of the Whadjuk Noongar peoples to the land we are on today.

The ceremony commences at 10:30 am every day at the beach pavilion on North Thompson Bay, with no bookings required. Free event running from Tuesday 6 January to Saturday 24 January. All are welcome to attend. Located at the beach pavilion on North Thompson Bay.
